Although I do not doubt their historical authenticity, I mostly used these Perry figs to make "Generic Fantasy Henchmen" for small skirmishes, working on them in groups of six or so. They usually have a common theme, the first wearing red livery.
These are common highwaymen, led by a stray noble.
A mounted serjeant, two peasants with sticks, and a hedge knight with his squire.
A more well-armed retinue in blue and gold, led by a pair of knights, one of them a battle-hardened veteran.
And the single mounted knight I currently own, in green livery, with the local citizen's militia.
