Airfix Male tank completed

Finished 'him' last year but this week's rather busy and thought I'd post about it now. This kit is rare around here so I grabbed it on Games Day, assembled in the student hostel and painted at home. Quite content with the camo.

Rear view with the extra wheels, they were used for steering according to wikipedia.

Airfix Mk I tank assembled

After gluing everything including fingers, eyes etc. but the small parts with superglue together, finally here it is, the Mk I Male tank by Airfix, 1/76 scale so I see no problem using it along with 1/72 troops. Painting will have to wait a little, until then here are some contemporary pictures of this one and his friends:

These were shared some time ago on 4chan without much comments, I just thought I would add some spice to the post. They're mostly 'female' ones and of the later variants.

So, after all, this is a blog about creativity. Though I just had the idea of starting it a while ago, I came to actually doing it just today. So, by this occasion, I'd like to share two of my previous posts on my Hungarian language blog (see it in the menu).

#1: Miniature tank (Panzer-alike, though i used no ruler or blueprints to reproduce: that's just planned now)

#2 A bit bigger tank: a T-72 at the 20th August military parade (national holiday and whatsoever). These pics are also from that occasion: upper one is a 152mm howitzer, middle is the tracks  of the T-72, lower the side of the turret.
