This 18th century coach is ideal for skirmish scenarios, or it can simply be a nice battlefield prop.
It is painted in bright Swedish colors, so it can be used both for my imaginary Varangian forces and historical GNW Swedes.
The figure is a Strelets bod with his legs reconfigured. The wheels are from a Zvezda limber, the smaller ones are scratchbuilt using sculpey. The nags are Airfix cuirassier horses I think.
I used cardstock and plasticard to build the structure, the springs are toothpicks and card, the rest is, mostly, scrap balsa wood and other wooden items I've had lying around.
A standing figure can, in theory, be placed at the end of the carriage.
Wonderful coach and wonderful colors!

DeleteAs a boss of mine once said to me: "You the man!" (Which is being interpreted 'Nice job!')
