A few more 6mm figures march off the painting desk in orderly formation. All of them are H&R Italian Wars stuff.

A Frenchman, a Swiss and a Pole walk into a bar
And the bartender says, "Get lost..."
My French and allied armies are taking shape nicely - as explained before, visual variety means a lot when all of your footsoldiers basically wear blue. This is why I originally bought the Strelets Poles - and then there's enough German (and Swiss) troopers in the same model of uniform with different colors. I think you could have seen the Swiss in the previous battle report (where they got badly thrashed and then stood idly for the rest of the game).

Kinder Surprise metal fig
This is a metal fig from the popular Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs and is labelled on the base as 'Swiss'. Was trying to paint something more difficult. Well what's going to happen when I'll buy some Landsknechts? Hope I'll be prepared.
The fig is surprisingly good. Finished with the last drops of my enamel varnish. On the other hand, I found the reason why that certain KV-1 had become so ugly: the Revell Olive Green crumbles when it gets in touch with a thinner or varnish. Sh*t. My advice for anyone who wants to paint with it: throw it away or never, ever try to buy one!
