More Opolcheniye

Two more units of this big box of HäT figures were completed recently. They are very easy to paint , with chunky details and simple uniforms.

This is a better equipped unit with its own commanding officer. The men with spears and clubs are in the rear rank. I did not go by any historical choice, just added grey and green coats.

This second unit wears a uniform brown, and has more axes and spears in the ranks. I am not happy with the puny spears made of soft plastic, so I replaced them with sliced up toothpicks.

I think I'm going to paint the next pair of units in dark green, so they may be used both as militia and regulars.
