I have quickly painted another dozen figures from the Zvezda Swedish infantry box. While not particularly good, they are passable. Two battalions of the Närke-Värmland Rgt, with red gaiters, cuffs, turnbacks and buttons instead of the traditional yellow.
The brighter beige/buff and red colors had an extra layer painted on before shading and I have used VMC Flat Earth instead of Dark Earth on the bases.
In April I will order the Swedish army for my 6mm Poltava project, until then I have modified the 'Song of Drums and Shakos' rule set a little to suit the GNW and will probably be playing this sooner if I can get some Russians and see to the end of the Swedes.
