Bloody Miniatures - The Fighting Men

In this third, and most likely final (for a while) installment of Bloody Miniatures showcase, we turn our attention to the warriors and fighting men.*

(*Since then another order has arrived, so I will be able to post some later.)

In the first image, a forlorn hope, fighting with halberds and partisans.

A dragoon with carbine, lobster helmet and half plate, two gentlemen with pistols, and a squire for one of them, mostly occupied with reloading weapons for his master.

The Unhorsed Cuirassiers, men in three quarter armor. I think the orange sash turned out really great. They are also good to replace figures from the previous post with fallen mounts.

Grim fighting men with pistols and swords, including some witch hunter types.

Some gaudy gentlemen who shrug off the hardship of warfare as if it were specks of dust on their neckcloth.

And the poorer second sons and men of opportunity, ready to charge in with a sword and nothing else.

Slowly I'm building up sizeable forces for, let's say, The Pikeman's Lament, or other big skirmishes, which is rather nice.

  1. I really, really like these, but most not given in to temptation. Nicely done Andrew.

    1. Thank you Michael! I think they are worthy of a purchase (or multiple ones).
