Corporal Punishment

This small diorama represents something we wargamers usually forget: the part of 18th century military discipline nobody's really proud of. It might not be very useful in a game, but honestly, what else should I have done with the figure tied to the pikes?
The figs are both from the Strelets Swedish artillery box (which was bought as part of the "From Narva to Poltava" set). The pikes are made from tooth picks and the whip is a piece of folded thread.

A brown basecoast and shade was used on the figures, I think it really shows.

The base is 2mm plasticard with the corners sanded to a round shape. I used ground tea to fill the base around the standing figure and a few small stones to spice it up a little.
