I thought the next 6mm army should be cost-effective so I ordered some infantry and cavalry in bicorne hats from Commission Figurines. This has been planned for a long time, and I can safely say I don't regret purchasing them.
These would be ImagiNation figures suitable for games with other 6mm armies or proxies for SYW/GNW Russians.
I used the standard method painting them, a drybrushed white primer, block colors, black wash and highlights.
The hats were cut off then turned 90° on the horsemen, not sure if it's worth the fuss to do on the rest. This army will have twelve units for starters, six infantry and six cavalry, so I only need to paint twice this many to complete it.
I'm just trying to imagine how fiddly repositioning a 6mm miniatures head would be! Lovely work András.
