Project Tsushima continues

I have painted the first squadron, four battleships and two cruisers, for the Japanese fleet at Tsushima. The transparent bases from Magister Militum have also arrived, so all these units lack now is a name plate at the back of the base.

For painting I used my standard methods, colorised period photos and scale models as references.

A formidable battle line with Mikasa leading the way.

The twin cruisers are part of the main battle line but the size of the lightbox area limited the setup.

While the main hull of all other ships is made of plasticard, the small despatch vessel/cruiser Tatsuta is built using a strip of balsa. I rather liked building that one.
