Painting diary II.

Horse for Zvezda cuirassiers - ready to wash+varnish.

So, as I mentioned in earlier posts, I figured out my horse painting was in some cases too plain, in other cases simply terrible. So I did some research on horse colours and this is what I came up with as a first try.

The men themselves had their accessories and helmets, cuirasses painted.

Voltigeurs (as Dorrosean light infantry) in the process.

Green clans grenadiers - almost finished.

Macro of a grenadier.

Some bits on the shako, skin tone on the hands and face, metal on the weapons etc. - they're going to be ready next week for a usual wash and varnish combo.
