US Navy Dreadnoughts

These are the Delaware- and Florida-class battleships of the US Navy. They will be joining the Jackewlinese Yellow Islands Station fleet.

I liked building them, they are fine and unique looking ships. Perhaps the Floridas could have had a higher hull, but that's the way they are now.

I made the cage masts by grabbing a cylindrical bamboo piece (toothpick or kebab stick), made a long flat right angle triangle from paper, soaked it in PVA and then rolled it up on the bottom of the bamboo piece. I think from a distance they look quite like the lattice masts they are representing.

After this comes the Japanese Fuso-class in their World War I setup.
