Dragoons

These are the Italeri British light dragoons. Nice and slim figures and a joy to paint after all the ugly Strelets ones. They have received hat conversions so they can be part of any European army.

They wear a Prussian dark blue - pink facings combination. The flag is textile.

The bases have a brighter brown color, and the static grass is much darker than the one I was using earlier, but it still looks OK.

This is my tricorne press mould, for which I've used a random Zvezda bod as master. It's made from sculpey (I did not choose the color of the clay). You can see the results, too - they require some cutting and sanding, but they're a perfectly cheap way of converting stuff.
