Martian Rebellion Campaign Ep. 1 - Viribus Unitis

The Martian Red Fleet was well prepared for an attack of the Terrans. They knew too well the conflict won't end peacefully this time. However the fleet commanders did not favor the violence with which the Overseers met, there was just enough patriotism in them to launch the fleet, trying to intercept the Terran attack.

That attack came soon enough.

The Terran centre of battlecruisers moves forward slowly.

Fighter squadrons are deployed.

Martian fighters swarm the Terran destroyer squadron and manage some hits on the DD Zrínyi.

There is some serious dogfighting going on between the larger ships. Martian bombers score a hit on the Terran battlecruiser Pappenheim.

With the aid of a bigger unit bombers strike at the CA Cromwell.

The Terran main force, led by the BB Orion is closing in.

Some fleet maneuvers later most ships' rears are exposed and the exchange of fire has shattering effects.

The Martian battleships arrive at the scene and start the fight with the Orion.

A united attack of ships against the Terran carrier Lincoln.

BB Wallenstein is out of use after a good many hits.

Some smaller units are damaged beyond recognition when the fight ceases. The Terran fleet is beaten in points (73/52 lost). Mars is in a winning position now and meetings shall occur again. This is hastened by the news of a large Zaqasdari battlefleet arriving at the solar system - they must be repelled with united force.

  3. cool game! it would have helped them in the campaign if they had noticed the Zaqasdari fleet before they started blowing each other up. still it will make the campaign much more interesting.
