WIP - Jackewline Green Guard Grenadiers (+light infantry)

This is how far I've gotten with the list  made before the weekend. 18 of these are finished the 'quick' way - one unit of grenadiers and one of light infantry. These are the grenadiers up here with plumes and white breeches.

The white is exceptionally good, it's a dark grey undercoat with a Revell matte white on it. Forgot how good that one is. I still have a tube of acrylics if I want to mix some other tones (I usually have just five tubes of paint, the three basic colors, red, blue, yellow plus black and white for adding shades/tones).

Still need some basing.

Light infantry here. Light troops have green ornaments on their shakos and green breeches instead of white.

The rest of the figs, 28, greatcoats and vests painted.

And good news, the Artizan figs arrived and they are already trimmed and glued on caps and prepped, will work on them as a week-long holiday is coming.

  1. Very nice WIP there. I am amazed that people paint and make the plastic figures look so good. Top Job

  3. Great looking figures, I'd find it difficult to paint on the bottle tops, I think?

    1. Thank you; I use these (cheap material) to get a good grip while painting.

  4. Lots of nice detail on these not-so-detailed figures.

    1. Thank you! They actually are detailed... Those greatcoats were a pain in the nuts to paint around.
