Some time ago I painted a Swiss figure from the Kinder eggs. These two are part of the same range of toys. There are 4 different Samurai figs, I'm still on the hunt for the other two. On the left one, I tried blending, while the one on the right had a shaded undercoat and was done with the traditional wash+drybrush way.
The difference is more obvious here.
Here's the Zvezda foot samurai box under way. The main colour is, like on the first Kinder fig, blue.
And a little scratchbuild, a small village house. I'll build more as I figured I'm out of practice and it took a while to get the roof right. It's from a Revell acrylic paints box.
How cool's that for kinder egg toys! Nicely done though. I have a few cars that came from kinder eggs to use for 15mm modern gaming.
ReplyDeleteThese days it's only cheap plastic toys. I love these and had the one with the walking stick for 10+ years.
DeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteThats almost as cool as the guy who used the Playmbil ship after a repaint job ;-)

I have a toy fort I will paint some day and add some woodwork around the battlements. Nice resources of modeling actually.
