Dragon's eggs and javelins

Another long week is here, trying to find some deals on ebay: either interested in Caesar's fantasy Adventurers (in favor of the new fantasy rules added to my homegrown skirmish booklet) or Italeri's Medieval Tournament with eventually no cash in my pocket. The first term is starting and hopefully in two weeks I can sell my old books. It is always selling, but no buying, a little bit sad.

The casual welcomes to many good people returning a favor and following my blog: Anne O'Leary from Anne's Attic; Laughing Ferret from his Lab; and Sgt. Steiner from Sgt Steiner's Wargaming Blog. Just passed 40 followers and the magic 50 isn't so far to check it on the goals' list of this year, for which I am very grateful and cannot thank you enough.

Here are some items from scratch: first, some javelin markers for the Inter Arma game - javelins can be picked up and thrown back when they miss. Pieces of matches on old (out of use now) coins.

Some gaming is in sight to try out the 'skills' added last time to the rules. I think I'll choose a character and go full Hulk on it, adding it heirlooms and maximum levels of skill and see how many opponents can it beat.

Then, as I've already said, I'd like to sculpt a dragon in 1/72 sometimes, here are the eggs for it, of different sizes but the same color. Nature's still the best painter around when it comes to scenics :)

I can't really tell what makes the stones look like this but they're pretty. These photos are taken after cleaning them and they lose their gloss soon, maybe a layer of gloss varnish will help this.

  3. I like markers in a game, so of course I like these! Lovely little Dino eggs. How large will the donor be in 1/72 (in millimeters)?

    1. Thank you; I'm not trying to take up a fast pace but I'd like to do a pack of hatchlings smaller than a man, juveniles about 4-5cms long and a broodmother of huge size, about 10-15cms... Looks like a lot now as I've written it!
